Payment and Withdrawal Policy

Two balances

• Earnings balance holds what you earn from verified scans.
• Reward balance holds rank rewards, invite rewards and any bonus from Scanbic.

When you can withdraw

• Earnings balance: only on the 1st to 5th of each month. Minimum ₦1,000.
• Reward balance: any time. Minimum ₦500.

When you withdraw, you choose which balance to take it from.

Pending rewards

Each verified scan is pending for 24 hours before it can be withdrawn. If a scan is found to be fraudulent during that time, the reward is reversed.

How withdrawals are paid

Withdrawals are paid to the bank account you verified at signup. The account name must match your Scanbic name, and one account number can only be linked to one Scanbic account. If a bank rejects a payout, the amount is returned to the balance it came from so you can try again.

Advertiser deposits

Deposits are made through Paystack and added to your ad balance. Your ad budget is held when an ad starts and charged per verified visit. Unspent budget is returned to your ad balance when the ad ends. Deposits are not withdrawable as cash.

Fees

Scanbic does not charge a withdrawal fee. Payment providers may charge their own fees.
