What is a task?
Every ad from an advertiser is a task. Opening it gives you a QR code made just for you. When that QR is scanned and passes our checks, you are paid.
Who has to scan my QR?
A friend (they pay nothing and need no account), or you from a second device. You can also save the QR image and open it in Google Lens or any QR scanner app on your phone. A phone cannot scan its own screen, which is why sharing or saving the image helps.
What is Direct access?
A shortcut for when you do not want to share or scan. Scanbic opens the page for you after the same checks, but pays 40% less than a normal scan.
Do I need to stay on the page?
No. Your reward is credited automatically as soon as the scan is verified, even if you have closed the app.
Why was my scan rejected?
Common reasons: the QR expired, it was already used, the visit came from a script or automated tool, the timing looked automated, too many scans came from one network, or you had already completed that ad. Rejected scans pay nothing and use no scan from your limit.
Can I do the same task twice?
No. Each ad pays one reward per person.

How many scans can I do?
Starter: 3 scans, then the window resets 15 hours after your first scan. Growth: 5 scans, 10-hour window. Premium: 5 scans, 5-hour window. The Scans left ring on your dashboard shows what remains and when it resets.
How much does a scan pay?
Each verified scan pays a random amount inside your rank range — Starter ₦10–50, Growth ₦50–100, Premium ₦50–200. A cheaper ad can cap the reward.
How do I reach Growth or Premium?
Any one of: invites (20 for Growth, 50 for Premium), verified scans (150 or 300), or a quick upgrade (Growth ₦1,500 and Premium ₦3,000 by bank transfer; paying from your earnings balance costs ₦3,500 and ₦10,000). Growth also pays a ₦500 rank reward and Premium ₦1,500 into your Reward balance.
Do I earn commission from my friends?
Yes, in two ways, both paid into your Reward balance: ₦200 when a friend you invited makes their first verified scan (that friend also counts as an invite toward your next rank), and 40% of the price whenever a friend pays for a quick rank upgrade — for example ₦600 on a Growth upgrade. You do not earn a share of their everyday scan earnings.
Balances & withdrawals
What does Pending mean?
Every verified scan is held as pending for 24 hours before you can withdraw it. Your balance already includes it. This window lets us reverse fake or repeated scans. Tap Pending on your dashboard or wallet to see when each one clears.
What are the two balances?
Earnings balance holds what you earn from scans. Reward balance holds rank rewards, invite rewards, upgrade commissions and any bonus from Scanbic.
When can I withdraw?
Earnings: only on the 1st–5th of each month (minimum ₦1,000). Rewards: any time (minimum ₦500). You choose which balance to withdraw from.
Where is my money sent?
To the bank account you verified at signup. Its name must match your Scanbic name, and one account number can only be linked to one Scanbic account.
Is there a withdrawal fee?
Scanbic does not charge one. Your bank or payment provider may.
Advertising
How do I advertise?
Create an advertiser account, deposit with Paystack, tap Advertise, paste your link and set your budget. Your ad goes live as a task.
What do I pay for?
Only verified visits, at the cost per visit you chose (minimum ₦60). Scans that fail our checks are never charged.
What happens to unspent budget?
Your budget is held when the ad starts. When the ad ends, anything unspent returns to your ad balance. You can end an ad early from its page.
What links are not allowed?
Phishing, malware, scams, adult content, anything illegal in Nigeria, and misleading pages. We may remove such ads and close the account.
